2021-08-05 Hennock Reservoirs led by Val & Neil

On a lovely sunny day six walkers drove from the Dolphin Inn at Bovey Tracey to the parking area for Trenchford Reservoir. The lane to and from the parking area was an adventure in itself. Luckily we were in a convoy of two.

We wended our way around both Trenchford and Tottiford Reservoirs – mostly under cover of the lovely woodland trees. The water was so clear you could see minnows darting around the weed. Also there were lots of Dragon Flies (or Damsel Flies) flying across the water.

We returned to the Dolphin where we were well looked after and the food excellent.
